The lock jig is designed to make it easier to rout out door edges to accommodate lock bodies and face plates. This one-piece jig is supplied complete with elongated securing clamps for easier and safer operation and is self-centring once clamped to the door. Operators need to use a 12.7mm router bit (examples are FAI RB211 or FAI RB212) and a 16mm guide bush.
For use with a hand plunging electric router, with a minimum motor rating of 1600 Watt and accommodating 1/2in shank cutters.
